How It All Started
ACT was founded in June of 2008 by President Rebecca McGlohn to meet the need for in-home Applied Behavior Analysis and Therapy. Ms. McGlohn has been working with children with Autism and their families since 2001, first as a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst, then as a Special Education teacher, and finally as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Since its founding in 2008, ACT has undergone rapid growth. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave ACT, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
In 2021, ACT became a Behavior Analyst Certification Board authorized continuing education provider.
